City College Coventry made the decision to relocate from their previous site to Swanswell Education zone, thus anchoring the major regeneration area of the city.

MCD Executive Team were chosen as preferred development partner for the Butts, the largest of the three college sites being vacated.

With our expertise on complex and sensitive sites, MCD Executive team committed to restoring and refurbishing the existing neo-classical building as well as developing the remainder of the 7.5 acre site into a vibrant, mixed use development  incorporates 280 extra care facility, 250 apartments and 110,000 sq ft of office space including the 50,000 sq ft relocation of the QCDA (Department of Education) from London, multi store car park, cafes, theatre and restaurants.
