  Co-founder and Chief Executive, Steven Byrne BSC (HONS) FRICS established MCD 14 years ago to focus on complex urban regeneration schemes having been the development director at Inner City Enterprises (ICE) plc for 5 years. Many of the principles successfully adopted by ICE Plc for delivering value are still used today at MCD.

  Managing Director, Mike O’Sullivan LLB (Hons) joined MCD in 2004 as equity partner after 30 years as a real estate partner in 3 major law firms. It is this skill that has enabled MCD to structure land deals innovatively and respectful of the off market situations in which MCD operate

  Vice Chairman Ian Pearson BA, MA PhD was the MP for Dudley South between 1994 and when he retired in April 2010. He has wide ranging experience of Government and business at the highest levels. He was the Economic Secretary to the Treasury from 2008 to 2010 and immediately before that the Under Secretary of State for Economics and Business. He has been a non executive of GLE Capital and before entering politics he was the joint Chief Executive of the WMEB Group.

  Development Manager Damien Byrne BSC (Hons) has been with MCD since 2003 following an early career in logistics and running a national sales and distribution company.

  Development Executive Jennifer Price MA Camb has a masters degree in maths from Cambridge University and has managed numerous regeneration projects for a leading consultancy firm before joining MCD in 2005.

  Neil Beaumont (LLB Hons) is a Chartered Accountant and joined MCD in 2008. He has been involved in property finance all his professional life . Prior to joining MCD he was financial controller for eight years at St Modwen Properties PLC where he later established a specialist tax planning & treasury functio
