Working with Coventry City Council, this £110 million scheme will incorporate 554 residential apartments, Earlsdon Park is a mixed use development incorporating 554 residential apartments, high quality office accommodation, restaurants and bars.
The scheme is fronted by an existing neo-classical building which is being restored and refurbished and adjacent to that will be the new home to QCA (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority) who are relocating from London creating over 500 new jobs and bringing 200 visitors to the site per day.
This QCA building will achieve a BREEAM excellent rating, one of the first outside of London. The office space will be built around a glass roofed atrium, allowing natural light and ventilation to flood in, and include a ground source heat pump enhancing MCD’s sustainable roots.
A community theatre located at the back of the existing building is also being restored and a vibrant piazza area will be created around it giving potential to outdoor performances and offer an area to the bars and restaurants for outdoor seating. All of these attributes will make this scheme a hub of activity.
