Derwent Foundry : Completed

Derwent Foundry situated just off the historic St Paul’s Square in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and is a testament to the Victorian Era when many industrial buildings were of architectural significance. This Grade II listed building was originally owned by Taylor and Challen who, for over 70 years, were manufacturers of presses and other machines serving the jewellery trades.

The former foundry building was converted into 98 spacious one and two bedroom apartments rising four floors that benefit from the original features of the Grade II listed building. An additional wing of newly constructed and converted apartments provides further opportunity to live in this historic and beautiful building.

All homes benefit from secure and secluded landscaped courtyards, with some apartments having private terraces and car parking.

The beautiful St Paul’s Square which contains a host of restaurants and bars is just a stones throw away from this development.

Completed in 2009
