  • Securing opportunities quickly and often off market after “ blue chip/PLCs” have become entrenched with the challenges
  • Maximising value through commercial and planning innovation (e.g. MCD doubled the size of Edgbaston from the planning secured by Redrow)
  • Genuine mixed use developer comfortable in delivering residential, commercial, retail and hotels to maximise value
  • Creating bespoke and imaginative solutions which maximise commercial, community and environmental benefits

Existing Portfolio
MCD are amongst the very few property developers that adopt a commercial/office approach to delivering the residential component of mixed use. This approach has allowed us to deliver valuable new places in City Centres. Our product is still considered to be market leading even where it was completed many years ago. Frustrated by the experience of external managing agents MCD took this function in house with the property that we hold as an investment and as a result have set new levels for efficiency and yield growth.
